Information document pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 – GDPR – Information notice for the processing of personal data collected from the data subject

This page describes the methods of managing the website of the ELVIO ZANON brand, whose domain is owned by Awards Shoes S.r.l., which also holds the trademark. This information notice is drafted and customized for the visitors of the portal, i.e., for all those who interact with the ELVIO ZANON web services accessible electronically from the address:

www.elviozanon.com, corresponding to the homepage of the site.

This notice applies only to the aforementioned site and not to any other websites that the user may consult via links.

This information notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (European Regulation for the protection of personal data) and is also inspired by Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC, regarding Cookies, as well as the Decision of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 08.05.2014 on the subject of cookies.

2. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING

The personal data provided will be processed, in compliance with the conditions of lawfulness set out in Article 6 of EU Regulation 2016/679, for the following purposes:

  • Browsing this website – legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) as legal basis;

  • Responding to specific requests for information voluntarily sent to info@awards-shoes.com, which appears in the site footer and contact area;

  • Contact requests, including the sending of requested information – legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) as legal basis, via the contact form;

  • Accessing the reserved area via homepage form for credentials creation;

  • Using the "Chat with us" service;

  • Subject to consent, for direct marketing activities: if the user fills out specific data collection forms in areas dedicated to marketing purposes, with prior consent and until revoked, for activities such as market research, direct sales, customer satisfaction surveys, newsletters, promotional material, commercial and advertising content, or information about events and initiatives, using automated tools (e.g., email, SMS, fax, automated calls), phone calls with operators, postal mail, or other information tools.
    LEGAL BASIS: Consent under Art. 6(1)(a): the data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data.

3. RECIPIENTS OR CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data provided will be communicated to recipients who will process the data as data processors (Article 28 of the GDPR) and/or as persons acting under the authority of the Data Controller and the Processor (Article 29 of the GDPR), for the purposes listed above in section 2.

Specifically, data will be communicated to:

  • Providers of IT system management and telecommunications services for Awards Shoes S.r.l.;

  • Professionals, firms, or companies providing assistance and consultancy;

  • Service providers involved in managing email, newsletters, and websites;

  • Third parties collaborating with the Data Controller for direct marketing purposes;

  • Competent authorities for legal obligations or public authority requirements.

The entities in the above categories act as Data Processors or operate independently as separate Data Controllers. An updated list of Data Processors is available by writing to info@awards-shoes.com or at the Data Controller’s registered office.

4. DATA RETENTION PERIOD OR CRITERIA

The processing will be carried out in automated and manual modes, with methods and tools designed to ensure maximum security and confidentiality, by persons specifically appointed.

In accordance with Article 5(1)(e) of the GDPR, personal data will be retained in a form that allows identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed.

Retention depends on the processing purpose:

  • Website navigation (see Cookie Policy);

  • Contact request (maximum 1 year);

  • Newsletter subscription (24 months);

  • Access to the reserved area (as long as the registration purpose exists);

  • Chat service: based on specific internal criteria, available upon request to info@awards-shoes.com.

5. NATURE OF DATA PROVISION AND REFUSAL

Except as specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide personal data. Providing data is optional or necessary depending on the specific purpose. Failure to provide data marked with an asterisk (*) will make it impossible to obtain the requested service or response from the Data Controller.

6. TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION

Personal data will not be transferred to non-EEA countries.

7. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

You may exercise your rights under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR by contacting the Data Controller or Data Processor at info@awards-shoes.com. You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing of your personal data, and object at any time (including profiling), as well as the right to data portability.

If you believe your data has been processed in violation of the GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority and, with reference to Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a), to withdraw your consent at any time.

In the case of a data portability request, the Controller will provide your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, in accordance with Article 20(3) and (4) of the GDPR.
